Top 10 Scooter Sales – June 2025 Report: Honda Activa Slips, TVS Jupiter Grows Stronger
The Indian scooter market witnessed noticeable changes in June 2025. While the Honda Activa continued to lead the sales chart, it saw a significant drop in year-on-year performance. Meanwhile, TVS Jupiter showed strong growth and narrowed the gap with the segment leader.
Honda Activa Still at the Top, But Facing a Decline
Honda’s Activa remained India’s most sold scooter, with 1,83,265 units sold in June 2025. However, this number reflects a decline of more than 50,000 units compared to the same month last year, marking a 21.47% decrease. Despite leading in volume, this drop is one of the highest among the top 10 scooters.

TVS Jupiter Posts Impressive Growth
TVS Jupiter saw an impressive rise in sales, registering 1,07,980 units—an increase of 49.76% over June 2024. It was the only other scooter to cross the 1 lakh sales mark, showing significant improvement in its market position.
Stable Performance by Suzuki Access
The Suzuki Access retained its third position with 51,555 units sold. Its sales declined only slightly compared to last year, showing stable performance in the market.
Drop in Sales for Honda Dio and TVS Ntorq
- The Honda Dio faced a 25.49% fall, selling 24,278 units.
- The TVS Ntorq also dropped by 17.94%, with total sales of 22,822 units.
Bajaj Chetak Leads in Electric Segment
The Bajaj Chetak recorded 17,864 units sold, marking a 7.03% increase in year-on-year sales. It became the top-selling electric scooter for the month.
Mixed Results for Other Scooters
- The Suzuki Burgman saw a slight growth of 4.07%, closing at 15,733 units.
- The Yamaha RayZR and TVS iQube reported small declines of 5.99% and 6.35%, respectively.
- The Ola S1 range suffered the biggest fall, dropping by 45.22% to 20,190 units, placing it at the bottom of the top 10 list.
