The 2026 MG Hector comes with fresh exterior and interior updates, while the power train and gearbox options stay the same.
JSW MG Motor India has launched the new facelifted MG Hector in India, and it looks more stylish and premium than before. Prices start at ₹11.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
On the outside, the Hector gets a fresh front look with a bold chrome grille and updated front and rear bumpers, making the SUV look wider and more muscular. MG has also added new alloy wheels and two new colours – Celadon Blue and Pearl White.

Inside the cabin, there are some cool updates. The 5-seater gets an Ice Grey theme, while the 6- and 7-seaters come in Urban Tan. You now get ventilated front seats, a power-adjustable driver seat, better steering adjustment, and an optional leather interior, which really boosts the premium feel.
The highlight is the huge 14-inch touchscreen, which is now faster and smoother. There’s also a new touch gesture feature, where you can control AC, music, and navigation just by swiping your fingers – pretty futuristic!
Other smart features include a Bluetooth digital key, remote AC control, digital instrument cluster, and a 360-degree camera, which is super helpful while parking. Safety is also solid with ESC, traction control, hill-hold assist, and ABS.

Under the hood, nothing changes. The Hector continues with the 1.5L turbo petrol engine making 143 PS, available with manual or CVT automatic gearbox options.
You still get popular features like a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, connected car tech, ADAS, powered tailgate, air purifier, and app-based controls.
MG is also offering easy finance options with up to 100% loan and a long 84-month tenure. Plus, the Hector comes with the MG Shield package, which includes warranty, roadside assistance, and free services.
