Maruti Suzuki Ertiga continued to lead the 7-seater sales chart in November 2025, comfortably ahead of rivals such as Scorpio, Bolero, Innova, and Carens.

The 7-seater car segment stayed quite active in November 2025, with some models showing steady growth while others saw big ups and downs compared to last year.

Once again, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga ruled the segment. It posted a 7% year-on-year growth, with sales increasing from 15,150 units in November 2024 to 16,197 units this year. This steady rise shows that the Ertiga has become a trusted family car, with demand coming from both first-time buyers and repeat customers.

The Mahindra Scorpio was one of the biggest winners of the month. It recorded a strong 23% growth, as sales jumped from 12,704 units to 15,616 units. This clearly shows that buyers still love tough, ladder-frame SUVs, especially in areas where road presence and durability matter.

The biggest surprise came from the Mahindra Bolero, which saw a massive 49% jump in sales. Volumes shot up from 7,045 units to 10,521 units. Despite being an older model, the Bolero continues to dominate in regions where reliability, rough-road ability, and low running costs are more important than modern features.

The Toyota Innova also had a good month, posting an 18% increase with sales rising to 9,295 units. The Kia Carens kept its momentum going as well, growing 15% year-on-year to 6,530 units, thanks to its family-friendly appeal.

On the flip side, the Mahindra XUV700 saw the biggest drop among the top 10, with sales falling by 32% to 6,176 units. The Toyota Fortuner also dipped by 7%, while the Maruti XL6 saw a small 2% decline.

At the bottom of the chart, the Renault Triber impressed with a 39% growth, reaching 2,064 units, while the Tata Safari recorded a solid 21% increase at 1,895 units.

Overall, most of the declines can be linked to the festive boost in October 2025, which pulled some demand forward and made November look softer for a few models.
