Toyota Model-Wise Sales January 2026 – Innova Leads, Hyryder Delivers Massive Growth
Toyota Kirloskar Motor started 2026 on a strong note in the Indian market. The company recorded total domestic sales of 30,630 units in January 2026, showing a healthy 17% year-on-year (YoY) growth compared to 26,178 units sold in January 2025.
However, on a month-on-month (MoM) basis, sales slightly dropped by 10% compared to 34,159 units in December 2025. Despite this minor dip, Toyota’s performance remains solid, mainly supported by strong demand for its SUVs and MPVs.
1.Toyota Innova Crysta + Toyota Innova Hycross

The Innova range remained Toyota’s best-selling nameplate in January 2026. The combined sales of Innova Crysta and Innova Hycross stood at 9,455 units.
Although this is slightly lower than 9,780 units sold in January 2025 (a 3% decline), the Innova continues to be one of the most trusted MPVs in India. Families, fleet operators, and business users still prefer it for its comfort, reliability, and resale value.
Even on a monthly basis, sales dropped only 5% compared to December 2025, showing stable demand.
2.Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder

The biggest growth story for Toyota in January 2026 was the Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
Toyota sold 9,156 units, which is an impressive 85% YoY growth compared to 4,941 units in January 2025. Even compared to December 2025, the Hyryder showed a strong 30% month-on-month growth.
The main reason behind this success is the good response to its mild-hybrid and strong hybrid versions. Buyers are now more interested in fuel-efficient and eco-friendly options, and the Hyryder fits that demand perfectly.
3.Toyota Glanza
The Toyota Glanza recorded 2,978 units in January 2026.
This represents a 14% decline compared to 3,455 units sold in January 2025. On a monthly basis, sales dropped sharply by 54% compared to December’s 6,451 units.
The hatchback segment is currently facing strong competition, and SUVs are becoming more popular among buyers. This shift in preference may have impacted Glanza’s performance.

The Toyota Taisor contributed 2,521 units in January 2026.

The compact SUV segment is highly competitive, which may explain the fluctuations.

It recorded a strong 46% YoY growth compared to 1,944 units in January 2025. On a monthly basis, sales also improved by 4%.

The Toyota Camry sold 184 units, slightly down by 7% compared to last year.
The premium sedan segment is smaller compared to SUVs, but the Camry continues to attract buyers who want comfort and hybrid technology.

The Vellfire showed a dramatic jump with 123 units, compared to just 3 units last year.
This huge percentage increase is mainly because availability improved and demand in the luxury MPV space is rising.
10.Toyota Land Cruiser 300
The Land Cruiser 300 recorded 21 units in January 2026. Though numbers are small, it remains one of Toyota’s most premium and iconic SUVs.
