Skoda Confirms 4 New Car Launches in India This Year – Full Details

Skoda Auto India has officially confirmed an exciting product plan for India, with four new launches scheduled in 2026 across multiple segments. From refreshed SUVs to high-performance RS models, Skoda’s lineup aims to offer something for family buyers, young customers, and driving enthusiasts alike.

The roadmap includes the price announcement of the Kushaq facelift, the launch of the Kodiaq RS, the arrival of the Kylaq Sportline+, and the much-awaited return of the Octavia RS later in the year.

Here’s everything you need to know, explained simply.

Skoda Kushaq Facelift to Start the Year

Skoda will kick off 2026 with the Skoda Kushaq facelift, with prices expected to be announced in March. The updated midsize SUV has already been unveiled and receives noticeable changes inside and out.

At the front, the Kushaq gets a new bumper and revised grille featuring segmented LED elements inspired by the larger Kodiaq. The headlamps have been updated, giving the SUV a sharper and more premium look. From the side, new 17-inch alloy wheels enhance its sporty stance.

The rear now features connected LED tail lamps with a light bar and a reworked tailgate, making the SUV look wider and more modern.

Feature-Rich Interior Gets a Major Boost

Inside, the 2026 Kushaq sees a big upgrade. Skoda has added several segment-first features, making it one of the most feature-packed SUVs in its class.

Key highlights include:

  • Rear-seat massage function
  • Panoramic sunroof
  • Full LED ambient cabin lighting
  • Ventilated and electrically adjustable front seats
  • Leatherette upholstery
  • Sequential turn indicators
  • Illuminated Skoda lettering at the rear

Technology has also improved with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Safety is strengthened with six airbags offered as standard across the range.

Powertrain options remain familiar, with 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre TSI petrol engines paired with a six-speed manual, seven-speed DSG, and a new eight-speed torque converter automatic.

Skoda Kodiaq RS Arriving in Q2

Next up is the Skoda Kodiaq RS, scheduled to arrive in Q2 2026. This performance-focused version of Skoda’s flagship SUV is designed for buyers who want speed along with space and comfort.

The Kodiaq RS uses a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine producing 261 bhp and 400 Nm, paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic. This setup allows the large SUV to sprint from 0–100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds.

Visually, the RS model stands out with red accents, glossy black exterior elements, and a more aggressive stance. Inside, buyers get blacked-out interiors, red contrast stitching, sporty pedals, and RS-specific detailing. The India-spec model is expected to arrive as a CKD.

Kylaq Sportline+ Targets Young Buyers in Q3

In Q3 2026, Skoda will introduce the Skoda Kylaq Sportline+, a sportier version of its sub-4-metre SUV and current volume seller.

The Kylaq Sportline+ retains the same 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 115 PS and 178 Nm, but focuses on sporty visual upgrades rather than performance changes. Expect darker trims, exterior styling tweaks, and interior updates aimed at younger and first-time buyers.

Skoda Octavia RS to Return in Q4

The biggest highlight of Skoda’s 2026 plan is the return of the Skoda Octavia RS, expected in late 2026.

The Octavia RS was introduced in India in 2025 with a limited batch of just 100 units, all of which sold out within minutes. Due to overwhelming demand, Skoda has now confirmed that another batch will be brought to India, giving enthusiasts a second chance.

Known for its blend of strong performance, comfort, and everyday practicality, the Octavia RS remains one of the most desirable sporty sedans in the country.
