Bike Sales in April 2025: Big Drops for Some, Small Wins for Others

In April 2025, Hero Splendor continued to be the top-selling bike, but its sales dropped sharply. It went from 3,20,959 units in April 2024 to 1,97,893 units, a big fall of over 1.23 lakh bikes – that’s a 38.34% drop compared to last year.

On the other hand, Honda Shine was one of the few bikes that saw growth. Its sales rose from 1,42,751 to 1,68,908 units, an increase of 18.32%. This helped Shine move up to the second position, proving it’s still a strong option in the budget segment.

Bajaj Pulsar came in third but also saw a drop – from 1,44,809 to 1,24,012 units, a fall of about 14.36%. Meanwhile, the TVS Apache range stayed steady, selling 45,633 units, almost the same as last year.
