The Tata Harrier EV offers an impressive 627 km range as per the MIDC cycle and delivers a peak torque of 504 Nm. It comes with two battery options and includes a lifetime warranty on the battery.
Tata Harrier EV: All-Electric SUV for Everyday and Adventure Use
Tata first showed the Harrier EV as a concept at the Auto Expo, and now it’s ready in its final version. It was recently unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Since then, many people have been eagerly waiting for it.
This electric SUV is built not just for city driving but also for off-road adventures. It comes with all-wheel drive and special driving modes like normal, mud, custom, rock crawl, snow/grass, and sand. There’s also a Boost mode for extra power on tough roads.
The Harrier EV has two motors—one for the front wheels and one for the rear—making it a five-seater SUV with strong off-road abilities. It also has features like transparent mode, off-road cruise assist, and a 360-degree camera system to help while driving in tricky conditions.
It has a 25.3° approach angle, 26.4° departure angle, and a 16.6° breakover angle, which means it can handle rough terrain easily. The SUV comes in five unique colours: Stealth Black, Nainital Nocturne, Empowered Oxide, Pure Grey, and Pristine White.

Inside, the cabin shares design elements with the regular Harrier, but it gets major upgrades. There’s a large 14.5-inch QLED touchscreen (a first in any car), support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 25+ built-in apps, and a new digital instrument cluster with EV-specific visuals.
Tata says the Harrier EV can go up to 627 km on the test cycle (MIDC), with real-world range between 480–505 km. It supports vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-load (V2L) features, so it can power other gadgets or even another EV.
The motors are made by Tata AutoComp and Schaeffler. You can choose between 75 kWh or 65 kWh battery options and between rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive versions. The SUV goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.3 seconds and can climb steep slopes with over 50% grade-ability.
Fast charging is supported—20% to 80% in about 25 minutes with a 120 kW charger. You can also get 250 km range in just 15 minutes of charging. Home charging options include 7.2 kW and 3.3 kW chargers.
