Maruti Suzuki

Maruti Suzuki has been the top carmaker in India for a long time and remains unbeatable. With the biggest range of cars and the largest service network, Maruti operates on a much larger scale than any other carmaker in the country. Maruti sells more cars each month than the next three carmakers combined. In June 2024, Maruti sold 137,160 units, maintaining its position as the industry leader. Additionally, six Maruti models ranked among the top 10 best-selling cars in India.

Hyundai

Hyundai sold 50,103 cars, nearly the same as it did in the same month last year. Hyundai’s SUVs made up about 68 percent of its total sales, with the Creta leading, followed by the Venue and Exeter. The Hyundai Creta was the best-selling SUV and the only Hyundai car to make it into the top 10 selling cars.

Tata Motors

Tata is the only car brand in India with all its models tested by Global NCAP.
