The new Tata Sierra comes with multiple engine and gearbox options, and deliveries will start from January 15, 2026.
Tata Motors has officially thrown the doors open for bookings of the all-new Tata Sierra in India, bringing back a legendary nameplate in a bold, modern avatar. Slotted above the Curvv in Tata’s SUV range, the Sierra enters the competitive midsize SUV segment with prices starting at Rs. 11.49 lakh and going up to Rs. 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Buyers can secure their Sierra from today with a Rs. 21,000 booking amount, either online or at authorised dealerships, while deliveries are set to roll out from mid-January 2026.
Built on Tata’s advanced ARGOS platform, the new Sierra is designed to handle multiple powertrains while offering high levels of safety and technology. The SUV smartly blends nostalgia with modern design, retaining the iconic upright stance and large glass area, but adding sharp LED lighting, full-width light bars and stylish dual-tone alloy wheels that give it a strong road presence.

Powertrain choice is one of the Sierra’s biggest strengths. Customers can pick from three engine options—a 1.5-litre petrol, a punchy 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and a torquey 1.5-litre diesel—paired with manual, torque converter automatic or dual-clutch automatic gearboxes, depending on the variant.
Step inside and the Sierra feels every bit futuristic. The cabin features a triple-screen layout, a premium JBL sound system with a dash-mounted soundbar, a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, automatic climate control, a floating centre console and a powered tailgate. Safety is equally impressive with six airbags as standard, Level 2 ADAS, terrain response modes and a 360-degree camera, making the new Sierra one of Tata’s most feature-packed SUVs yet.
